Trello is an elegantly designed website and mobile app that simplifies
task management for a team. It’s initially empty landscape, a blank blue
screen, allows the user to create whatever buckets he/she prefers. Typically,
users will create as many “To Do,” “Doing,” and “Done” columns as there are
subcategories for a specific assignment. The user then populates these columns
with detailed notes, which anyone shared on the Trello team can move to update
its status. The highly unspecialized design of Trello allows the user much
freedom in crafting their Trello board to suit their specific task management
needs. Its minimalistic, but still aesthetically pleasing, characteristics remind
us that the cliché “less is more” often defines the tradeoff between design and
 functionality.
