#367 of 383Brooklinen Classic Sheets
Editorial: A neatly made bed with white Brooklinen percale sheets, showing the crisp texture of the fabric with morning light coming through a window.
My Brooklinen Classic sheets feel cool when I first get into bed, then warm to body temperature within a few minutes. The initial cool contact against my skin is why I look forward to getting into bed now in a way I didn't before. Percale weave is crisp rather than silky, with a texture reminding me of a good hotel but without the stiffness new hotel sheets have. Brooklinen washes the fabric before shipping, so break-in is already done when sheets arrive. Deep pockets on the fitted sheet actually grip mattress corners. After 6 months of weekly washing, fabric has softened without pilling or thinning. Packaging was a canvas zip bag I now use for laundry, a small detail meaning nothing went to waste. At $159 for a queen set they're expensive for sheets but reasonable for something I touch 8 hours every day. Direct-to-consumer pricing undercuts department store brands at similar thread counts.
