Our Place sells the Always Pan as a single piece of cookware that replaces 8 items in your kitchen. The marketing around that claim is so confident that I bought one just to see if it held up. Ceramic-coated aluminum with a wide flat bottom, low sloped sides, and a beechwood spatula that clips onto the handle. Colors like Sage, Terracotta, and Steam are clearly meant for open shelving rather than a cabinet. The nesting steamer basket fits inside and turns it into a steamer or shallow pot. A spout on the rim lets you drain pasta water without a colander. For eggs, stir-fries, and reheating leftovers, the pan works well. The ceramic coating means nothing sticks even without oil. But the coating has started wearing after about 6 months of daily use. That's the trade-off with ceramic versus stainless steel. Our Place positioned itself as the anti-kitchen brand for people who cook but don't want a kitchen full of equipment. That resonates with anyone living in a small apartment where cabinet space is a luxury. At $150 it's high for a single pan, but reasonable if it actually replaces several cheaper ones.
