Leuchtturm1917 Notebook

I picked up a Leuchtturm1917 at the campus bookstore because it had dot grid pages and a table of contents. Someone had already thought about how I'd use it before I opened it. The cover has a soft-touch coating that doesn't slip out of your hand. The binding lets it lie flat without cracking the spine. A bigger story lives here about how analog tools hold up when everything is digital. Numbered pages and index stickers are small details, but they turn a blank notebook into something connected to a tradition of careful record-keeping. I want to fill every page. That's not a feeling I get from most notebooks that end up half-empty in a drawer.
