#153 of 363Too Good To Go Bags
Press shot showing a Too Good To Go paper bag filled with assorted bakery items including bread rolls and pastries, the app logo visible on the bag, placed on a cafe counter.
Too Good To Go partners with restaurants and bakeries to sell surplus food at the end of the day in surprise bags for $4-6. The model turns food waste into a game where you don't know exactly what you'll get. A bakery selling unsold croissants at a discount instead of throwing them out makes sense. Olio does food sharing between neighbors, but Too Good To Go brings businesses into the equation. The app shows participating stores near you with pickup windows. Randomness of the bag contents keeps it interesting because you might get $15 worth of pastries or a container of soup you wouldn't have ordered but end up loving.
