Reading on my Kindle Paperwhite at night. Screen has this matte quality that feels more like paper under my fingers than glass. Warm and slightly textured, like the surface absorbs light instead of reflecting it. My eyes don't get tired the way they do staring at my phone. In bed with the lights off, the backlight is dim enough that it doesn't wake up my roommate. Font rendering is crisp at every size. I read faster on it than on physical pages because nothing is on the screen except the text. I carry it everywhere. Weighs less than a paperback and holds hundreds of books. It's the one piece of tech I own that makes me feel calmer instead of more distracted.
