Last month I swapped the switches on my keyboard. Difference in how typing feels is hard to overstate. Old ones were mushy membrane keys. New ones are linear mechanical switches that bottom out with a clean thud instead of a vague squish. I type faster now and my fingers are less tired after long papers, which I didn't expect. Each key takes about 45 grams of force to press. You can feel exactly when it registers. Small upgrade that made a daily task noticeably better.
