Personal photo: beeswax food wraps in yellow floral print covering a bowl and wrapped around half an avocado on a kitchen countertop, showing the textured waxy surface.

Beeswax wraps feel like holding fabric that somebody dipped in honey and let harden. Slightly tacky, warm to the touch. They smell sweet in a way plastic wrap never will. I use them to cover bowls and wrap half an avocado. Warmth from my hands softens the wax enough to mold around whatever shape I need. They aren't perfect for everything. You can't microwave them, and they get cloudy after a few months. But washing one under cool water and watching it stiffen again as it dries is satisfying in a way I didn't expect from a kitchen product. Mine have a yellow floral print that makes the inside of my fridge look less depressing.
