#129 of 315Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap
Press shot: A bottle of Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Peppermint Soap showing the densely printed blue and white label with small text covering the entire surface, standing on a tiled bathroom shelf.
Dr. Bronner's castile soap has the most text-dense label in any grocery store, with thousands of words in tiny type covering every surface of the bottle. Religious philosophy, social activism, and product instructions merge into a single unbroken stream of consciousness. The soap itself is a simple castile formula made from organic oils that works for washing hands, body, hair, dishes, and laundry. That multi-use pitch is central to the brand identity. I keep a bottle of the peppermint version in my shower. It works fine as body wash, though the tingle is strong enough that you notice it.
