I found these homes to be inspirational as they revolutionized America and American’s accessibility to self-building their own homes. The ideology behind Sear’s homes was innovative and exciting in the time period they arose, and if they were still operating today. These ‘build your own home’ kits were inspirational in regards to admiration and skill in the sense that they would promote those feelings in the customer/builder of the house.
