Obol cereal bowl — a divided compartment bowl that keeps cereal and milk separate until eating, though poster critiques its toilet-bowl aesthetic shape.

My roommate received this as a secret santa gift last semester and used it for the first time the other day. The Obol is a fairly simple concept but pulls through with its divided compartment where all other bowls fail. However, its aesthetics could still be improved. Yes, the bend in the bowl below the main compartment for milk allows one’s hand and wrist to provide support, but it gives the bowl an unappealing toilet-bowl shape. We could take the idea of slight compartmentalization of the bowl because that’s where the merit lies and scrap the unappetizing form.
