These shoes are made from plastic recovered from the ocean, which is recycled and turned into thread from which Adidas has made these running shoes. I don’t know how scaleable this idea is for Adidas, but it’s a great way to use people’s desire to outwardly show that they are environmentally conscious to support a project that is cleaning up the oceans. They’re also a very clean design and look great.
