Lilium, a German electric two-seater flying vehicle aiming to offer Uber-like on-demand air rides at 180mph.

The German company Lilium demonstrated this past Thursday its electric, two-seater flying vehicle. The company's goal is to eventually be an uber-like business, taking passengers on on-demand rides. For example, at flying speeds of 180mph, passengers could travel from central Manhattan to JFK airport in five minutes – far less than commuting by car which can exceed an hour during rush hour.
