Usually you attempt to hold the umbrella in your weaker hand, and a beverage in your dominant hand. If winds pick up at all, this delicate balancing act quickly takes a turn for the worst: your drink either spills (sometimes all over your new shirt) or your umbrella flies off into the distance and your shirt is again ruined, in this scenario, by the rain.
This cup holding device attaches to your umbrella and has a pivoting feature which allows you to move the umbrella in response to the rain without worrying about your beverage.
