This pivot desk/ vanity offers a minimalistic and space saving piece to store everyday items. This is designed by Yael Mer & Shay Alkalay Raw-Edges, two designers who mesh their own design ideals to create interesting works like this. Although it is unclear as to how actually useful this piece is, it does immediately cater to the senses of a young professional in a city living in a small space. It seems to speak to the new movement away from materialism in a consumerist sense, and toward a materialism that is centered on the actual material of an object.
