USB-C Cable Standard

USB-C was a design decision made by a standards committee that affects billions of people. The reversible connector that plugs in on either side is the single best thing about it because the era of flipping a USB-A plug 3 times before it goes in is finally over. The standard supports charging, data, video, and audio through 1 port, and that consolidation means my laptop, phone, headphones, and tablet all use the same cable. I want every device to use USB-C because the simplicity of 1 cable for everything reduces the drawer of tangled proprietary chargers to a single coil on my desk.
