#308 of 383Pharmacy Pill Organizers
Press shot: A clear plastic weekly pill organizer with colored snap-close compartments labeled Sunday through Saturday, partially filled with assorted vitamins.
A weekly pill organizer with labeled compartments for each day is a product that has not been meaningfully redesigned in 40 years. I think that's because the original design already solved the problem completely. Grid of snap-close lids with embossed letters for Monday through Sunday gives you a visual check on whether you took your medication today. Act of filling it once a week creates a routine that reduces missed doses better than any app reminder. My grandmother uses the same style my parents used for their vitamins, and the form factor is so standard that refilling it's automatic. Plastic is cheap but durable, and at $3 from any pharmacy the replacement cost is negligible. It's a clever piece of health infrastructure hiding in plain sight.
