You step on, the doors close, and you arrive. Engineering behind these systems is more sophisticated than it appears. Vehicles are electric, running on elevated guideways that keep them separate from ground-level vehicle traffic. Automation means frequency can adjust based on passenger load in real time. Stations are climate-controlled extensions of the terminal, and the transition from gate to train to next terminal is seamless unlike an outdoor shuttle bus could match.
