#48 of 363Olipop Prebiotic Soda
Press shot: Two cans of prebiotic soda in different brand designs, one with muted vintage colors and serif text, the other with bold neon gradients, standing side by side on a kitchen counter.
Olipop makes prebiotic sodas that taste close enough to regular soda to satisfy a craving while containing 9 grams of fiber and 2-5 grams of sugar per can. Brand positioning is smart enough to avoid the preachy health-food tone that kills most functional beverages. Vintage Cola is the closest to actual Coca-Cola I've found in the better-for-you soda category, with spiced cola notes of cinnamon and vanilla rather than the sharp phosphoric acid bite of traditional cola. Poppi is the main competitor, taking a different approach: apple cider vinegar as the functional ingredient and a harder lean into bright, fruity flavors with a more aggressively Gen Z visual brand. Can design on both brands is well-executed. Olipop uses muted vintage-inspired colors and serif typography that signals maturity. Poppi uses bold neon gradients and sans-serif caps that signal energy. When I want a soda without the guilt, I buy Olipop. The fiber content, sourced from chicory root and cassava, has a noticeable effect on digestion I didn't expect from a can of soda. At $2.50 per can, it costs more than regular soda but less than kombucha. Fizz level is calibrated to match mainstream carbonation rather than the aggressive bubble of most health drinks.
