Disruption alerts are useful too, since the app knows about delays before you reach the platform and can reroute you automatically. But the pricing comparison is the feature that actually changes behavior. Seeing an Uber, subway, and bike share price on the same screen, with the subway saving $14 over the ride share, makes the cheaper option feel like a win rather than a compromise.
