Trader Joe's Everything Seasoning

The everything bagel seasoning from Trader Joe's is $2 and it has changed how I cook basically every meal since I bought it. Sesame, poppy, garlic, onion, and salt in proportions that taste right on eggs, avocado toast, roasted vegetables, and even popcorn. Is a range that most spice blends can't cover. I want a second jar for my bag so I can bring it to the dining hall. Trader Joe's keeps the packaging plain with that hand-drawn font they use for everything, and it sits on my counter next to actual spice jars and holds its own. Taking a flavor profile everyone already loved from bagel shops and putting it in a shaker bottle feels so obvious in retrospect that I don't know why it took until 2019 for someone to do it. Basic cooking feels a little more intentional with a shake of this, and you don't need any actual skill or planning to pull it off.
