Podcast Cover Art Thumbnails

Cover art for a podcast has to work at the size of a postage stamp in a phone app. Designs that succeed at that scale use bold color, high contrast, and minimal text because anything more detailed turns to mush at 150 pixels wide. I like the ones that commit to a single visual idea, a face, a symbol, a pattern, rather than trying to explain the show in an image. Best podcast art catches my eye while scrolling and makes me want to tap without reading the description.
