Sweetgreen app lets me build and save custom salads and order ahead so the food is ready when I walk in. Door to exit takes about 90 seconds, which makes it the fastest real meal I can get between classes. Menu design is smart because it groups ingredients by category and shows a running calorie and price total as I add items, letting me balance what I want with what makes sense without doing math. Pickup shelf is organized by name and the bags are sealed, and the system works well enough that I've never received the wrong order in maybe 30 visits. Bowl format means everything travels well and the portion size is calibrated to be filling without being heavy, which matters when I eat at noon and need to stay awake through a 2 PM lecture. My friend group all have saved orders and we sometimes coordinate pickup times so we eat together. That social use of a fast-casual app is probably not what Sweetgreen intended but it works. The loyalty program gives a free bowl after about 9 visits, and at $14 per bowl that math keeps me coming back more consistently than the food alone would.
