Apple MagSafe Charger

Apple MagSafe charger snaps onto the back of my phone with a click that's so satisfying I sometimes take it off and put it back on just to feel it. Alignment is perfect every time because the magnets guide it to the exact center of the charging coil. It charges slower than a cable but the convenience of just dropping my phone on it at night without fumbling for the port in the dark makes the trade-off fine. The charger is a flat puck with a braided cable, simple and small enough to throw in a bag. It keeps my desk cleaner than a cable draped across it. Solving wireless charging alignment with magnets rather than asking people to place their phone precisely on a pad is an elegant approach.
