The university set up flu shot stations in the student center and library lobby during midterms. Smart, because you're already there and the friction of making a separate appointment disappears entirely. Setup was simple: a folding table, 2 nurses, a consent form on an iPad, and a jar of candy for afterward. The whole thing took about 4 minutes from walking up to walking away with a bandage. Placement matters. Putting stations where students already congregate during a stressful week catches people who'd never schedule a clinic visit on their own. Signage was minimal and friendly, just a banner that said Free Flu Shots with an arrow pointing to the table. I got mine between classes and texted 3 friends to do the same. All of them did, which suggests convenience is doing most of the persuasion work.
