#11 of 315Campus Radio Livestream
Screenshot: An Instagram Live feed showing a fixed camera angle of a campus radio station mixing board with a student DJ's hands adjusting knobs, a small viewer count visible in the corner.
The university radio station started livestreaming DJ sets on Instagram during the semester, and it accidentally became the best ambient content on my feed. The camera angle is always the same: a fixed shot of the mixing board and the DJ's hands. Audio quality is surprisingly good for a phone propped up on a shelf. Most campus organizations try too hard to be polished online, but the radio station works because it doesn't edit anything or add graphics. You tune in, hear whatever the student DJ decided to play that afternoon, and leave whenever you want. The best content is often the least produced.
