In the last few weeks, it’s been raining a decent amount, and while an umbrella is helpful, the leather backpack (that belongs to my partner but I use) is beautiful and absolutely not water-resistant. Neither is my laptop or anything inside the bag. The backpack cover is true innovation, in that it’s essentially a large shower cap but serves a great purpose. I’m sensing a pattern in my love of design in that I really dig simple devices that make our lives much easier – or interesting applications of already-existing things, and this fits right in!
