The iPhone 5 was the first time Apple decided to make their phones any other color than black and white.  Once the iPhone 5 came around, new, sleek colors such as gold and copper, were announced.  The design of the new iPhones are so classy, and extremely desirable.  It is the definition of a sexy piece of technology.  It is a status symbol, as well.  Apple has always done an amazing job of appealing to consumers through aesthetically and cleanly designed products, as we learned in the beginning of the course.
