This wall-mounted calendar provides an easy way to keep track of upcoming due dates, appointments, and assignments. Due to its large size, it’s easy to write on, and each date has space. The month and date are filled in each month, meaning that the calendar never has awkward leftover days from the previous month. The magnetic board means a dry erase pen can stay conveniently located, and the user can add photos or notes as desired. Using this calendar to keep track of plans is fun, and the calendar’s materials look high end and luxurious. Though maintaining a schedule is often boring, the calendar leaves room for possibility and lets the user express themselves. One of my design goals is to turn the mundane into the intentionally experienced, and using a calendar mounted on a wall that doubles as elegant room decoration certainly accomplishes this goal.
