SNL at Home is the continuation of the Saturday Night Live series since New York has been under stay-at-home orders. Saturday Night Live is typically performed and filmed in front of a live studio audience, which is not possible under present circumstances. Rather than cancel the rest of their seasons, the cast and crew came together to produce three pre-recorded episodes where the performers each perform from their own homes. This is a phenomenal effort towards producing new content during quarantine, which also speaks to and commits to history the lived experience of quarantine and social distancing.
