The project was to leave the original geographical features where the Great Wall is situated intact and utilize locally-produced materials of bamboo. The use of bamboo makes the architecture blend in the environment and when viewing from the inside of the building itself, the scenery of the mountain consist of part of the project. Since I am interested in adding the element of nature into the design, which will help us be closer to our living environment and help us find an eye to appreciate the beauty of nature, I think this project perfectly suit my ideal of what good design is.
