Italic is an e-commerce company that sells “luxury without labels”: high-quality pieces manufactured at the same places that luxury brands are, without the logo and without the markups. Italic’s website is clean, straightforward, bold, and original: its design sets it apart from the thousands of other cookie-cutter Shopify websites on the web. I also really admire how transparent they are as a company: it’s not just something they preach on their website, but also something they actively practice through clear messaging, good customer service, and internal Facebook group discussions. It’s really inspiring to see how far they’ve come since first launching, and I’m super excited to watch them grow over the next few years and challenge the status quo of the fashion business.
