What is it?

YSL Lipstick

Why do you think it’s desirable? Do your best to explain what you think works or not about it psychologically or emotionally for the user.

The beauty of the product itself and the effect it could bring to the customer are both working well.  On the gold or silver metal tube, there’s a fancy decoration with YSL’s logo on it, which could give customer much pleasure while using it.  There are also many options for colors in which the customers can definitely find their favorite ones.  However, there’s a problem while using it.  As there’s no gap for protection between the tube and the lipstick itself, it will be quite easy to get the lipstick damaged while putting the cap back.

How your review compares to the previous reviewer

The previous reviewer gave a quite general description of the lipstick from its case, its smell and the quality more from his/her own experiences.  In my review, I focus more on the objective look and using problems.

Previous reviewer response

This week, I decided to post something a bit different from what I usually post – a physical beauty product in the form of YSL lipstick. I have been addicted to YSL lipsticks ever since I tried it for the first time a few years ago. The design of the lipstick is seamless – everything from the aesthetics of the case (it is exquisite to look at), to the smell (it smells expensive, if that’s possible, and I think it is), to the quality of the lipstick itself (extremely moisturizing and luxurious). I’ve tried different lipsticks besides YSL, but keep coming back to it due to the factors mentioned above, despite its high price point.
