I was inspired when I visited the MIT Museum, particulary the Arthur Ganson’s kinetic sculpture’s exhibition. The highly interactive nature of this exhibition is inspiring. I was able to move around between machines, turning a crank or pressing a pedal and seeing how movement happens. I found myself curious about oild surfaces, object movement, and fabrication. Eeach pieces also expresses a story behind the piece, and that combination of inspiration and physical connection is profound in my view and creates an immense sense of awe.
