FitBit is a health and wellbeing hardware software package designed to track biometrics such as heart rate along with your health focused activities, like jogs. I personally think that FitBits are a little clunky, obtrusive and ugly, but it doesn’t stop me from using one. When wearing one I only have to catch a glimpse of it to bring my personal wellness into focus. It acts as a stimulus for my motivation to go out and get some exercise. Once my workout is complete or the app shows me that I’ve done a consistent amount of exercise I am inspired by my own accomplishment and skill increase. This inspiration falls into both elevation and skill categories.
