Pinterest is a visceral cornucopia. Yet while the visual component of Pinterest may be the first aspect that users think of, its behavioral components are perhaps more responsible for its user addiction. This plays through two concepts specifically: 1) its well-designed algorithm that continuously learns and suggests new and relevant content specific to each user and 2) the idea of the endless scroll [of relevant content], which leads users to want to see more and to even feel that they need to see more for fear of missing out on an amazing post.
