Task Management Software (Trello, Asana, etc.)

by Vivian Zhou

Many organizations use task management softwares, and more and more people have begun adopting them for individual use as well. These products work because by nature, they force users to make a commitment — once a task is written down and a deadline assigned to it, the user feels more obligated to complete it on time. Furthermore, there is an element of social proof on shared task management sites, because others can see if you’ve completed your work or missed a deadline.
