It is a high-end computer mouse with a “high-end” design. Its desirable in that it looks “expensive” and that someone signals they care / spend a lot of time on the computer. This might also be a negative. Also, the shape looks a little “too” ergonomic, this gives connotations of a medical device. The original reviewer focuses on features and consistency, I feature more on the perception of others seeing it.
As someone who spends an inordinate amount of time editing at a computer, a mouse becomes a very important tool. It is safe to say I have never owned a mouse quite as consistent and successful as the Logitech MX Master. It has loads of features – multiple customizable buttons, horizontal and vertical scrolling, an additional thumbpad – is incredibly durable – I’ve had mine for two years – and, most importantly, is relatively inexpensive for a high-end mouse.
