For challenge 12 we created a clothing brand concept aimed at empowering women not only through bold, professional, and stylish clothing, but also through the business model itself. 40 percent of all BOSSIE. profits would be used to invest in female-founded startups or businesses, to continue to promote “bossie” women. Our product is a signature suit composed of a bodysuit and skirt with two differing hemlines: a longer, corporate hemline for work life, and a shorter, playful hemline for social life. Our product is unique because it allows young working women to transition easily from working to socializing through swapping and mixing matching bodysuits with skirts. Through BOSSIE we are dressing young working females in designs they want to wear through the day and into the night.
