The Nanoleaf Aurora, in my opinion, is a step forward in household lighting solutions. This product is a prepackaged bundle of 9 triangles (called “leaves” by the company) that connect together to create a lighting array that is not only staggering but incredibly customizable. From the colors that the leaves display to the shape of the overall array, the product can best be described as modular. In my opinion, not only does this create a beautiful product but one from a design perspective that is ingenious as it allows users to tailor their lighting to specific moods and ambiances desired, giving the product almost limitless value. Something that I think is interesting about the product in terms of its limitations is the 200 dollar price point which is a bit steep for lighting. I wonder what the process and costs are to recreate one’s own version, DIY.
