Whenever one thinks of easy and accessible takeout food options, pizza is the first food that comes to one’s mind. Thanks to its iconic recognizable box packaging, pizza is easily transferable by stacking multiple boxes. As one opens the folding cardboard box, one finds a hot pizza inside, ready for consumption and undamaged (not always, though) from the delivery. Inside of the box, the pizza itself typically sits on a sheet that absorbs excess oil, so that it does not soak through the box. As well as that, we can often find a “mini table,” as many like to joke, that sits atop the pizza to prevent it from sticking to the inner box surface. These small details make the experience of carrying and consuming a pizza very pleasant.
