In an industry as heavily based on quality as fashion, it was critical for our group to market our company, Trunk Club, as a premium service. Thus, our primary approach to play to persuasiveness and credibility was to highlight 1) any and all comparative advantages of the personalized, subscription model over traditional retail and 2) any and all comparative advantages of Nordstrom making a play into this industry over existing subscription retailers. With this in mind, one of our strongest slides we decided to incorporate was the one where we highlighted three key features of Trunk Club such as distribution networks, quality products, and “interpersonalization.” This slide not only served to explain our service but also why it would make Trunk Club incredibly competitive in the market.
