With a lid-with measuring cup, a motor, mixing blades, a heating system, integrated scales and a temperature-sensor-equipped mixing bowl, it is said the Thermomix serves as a replacement for 12 other kitchen appliances. Its functions involve steaming, chopping, whipping, mixing, emulsifying, blending, kneading, cooking, stirring, weighing and precise heating. Basically, it can be responsible for making ice cream, risotto or even milk! And the fact that it has several layers makes it possible to make several different foods at once, making it easier to serve a meal for a big amount of people (in my case, making sufficient and a variety of food for a family of 5). And not only is it incredible multifunctional, but its design has evolved so much in the last few years, now with a digital touchscreen and stainless steel jug. It isn’t hard to understand why it was chosen Europe’s best-loved kitchen machine and why it is without a doubt my mother’s most loved acquisition!
