The photo depicted is Ithaa, a underwater restaurant in the Maldives. This restaurant provides a 180 degree view of the ocean around them while serving extravagant meals such as caviar and lobster. I’ve never been to this restaurant but I think this is a good design because the restaurant figured out a way to capture awe into their business model. I have seen this awe attempt to be created in a restaurant by having very large portions of food, very colorful and a bunch of other trends found on Insider Foods. However, I think this restaurant does it best because it completely removes you from anything you see in your everyday life and gives you a unique experience. This sense of awe will continually attract customers and also began to shape the way tourist destinations build their business model.
