After reading a lot about the addictive nature of iPhones I stumbled upon the grayscale feature. Essentially, in an effort to reduce our attraction to bright colors the grayscale function removes color from the picture to make all applications seem equal in the hierarchy of our screen. In doing so it helps to bring some semblance of control back to our phone usage. I really appreciate this function.
