This weekend I went to see the Black Panther (yes, it was an exceptional movie and everyone should go see it) at AMC Assembly Row 12 located in Somerville. This theater had a different design for the snack area than most movie theaters in I’ve been to. At this theater, all the candy was on display to grab before walking up to a cashier to check out; similarly, the all popcorn and nachos were put on shelves for you to grab quickly and then go to the cashier to pay for. The theater distribution system greatly decreased the time people waited in line for food and made for an overall less congested area.
