One of my first “dorm” purchases, this articulating power strip is really great because it solves the two main problems of power strips: that they are rigid rectangles that don’t fit everywhere and that you can never actually make use of all the plugs. Why have a large power strip if you can only plug in something every other plug? The powercurl’s articulation allows you to bend it in a variety of shapes (including a straight line for squares), therefore, it can accommodate plugs of all sizes, even those massive AC adapters that we used to be plagued with. What I really like about this product is that the designers didn’t try to solve the problem of fitting plugs of different sizes by making a bigger rectangle, but they rethought the concept of a power strip and decided that moving away from tradition would yield a better solution.
