This week, Starbucks released the new Unicorn Frappuccino
(pictured above), which is a special that is only available for a few days. The
Frappuccino is not only color-changing but also taste-changing. It changes
between pink and purple as you swirl it and between sweet and sour as you sip
it. These qualities make it the most unorthodox drink that Starbucks has
released but also the most difficult drink to make according to baristas. Its
novel design embodies an effort from Starbucks to attract customers through aesthetic
appeal rather than through evolving coffee-based characteristics.
