What I’ve Got: Tap On Light

by post_author

Last night I stayed at my aunt and uncles house in my cousins old room. I wanted to do some reading in bed before I went to sleep so I went to turn on the lamp on the bedside table. At first I couldn’t figure it out, it didn’t seem to have any switches or anything, although it did look pretty cool. I started to
fiddle with it to see if I was missing something – and then Bam! It turned on. Instantly I was impressed. If I touched anywhere along the outside of the lamp it acted as a switch. This was super convenient. I could imagine being in the dark and wanting to turn on the light which would be so much easier with this lamp design. Rather than groping for a switch, all you would have to do is touch the lamp. This was a design that immediately stood out to me as desirable.
