I noticed the company Geronimo Balloons on Instagram; the installations they create are visually stimulating. There is a fun juxtaposition between the balloons and traditionally mundane objects, like a small market. The company places balloons of all sizes, and in vibrant colors, onto the faces of buildings. The amount of space that the balloons cover is quite impressive. I love the way that this would make people on the street stop and admire something that has been in the neighborhood for so long. This allows for the public to rethink and discover new aspects of spaces they have traditionally overlooked.
